Pinoy named 'Most Connected Designer' at Asia Fashion Week

MANILA, Philippines - Filipino designer Albert Andrada won the "Most Connected Designer" award at the Asia Fashion Week in Malaysia last October 22.
 
The award is given to a designer with creations that were most popular in social media.
 
Paris Hilton wore one of Andrada's creations at the Grammy Awards last February. The Filipino designer was the head designer of a royal family in the United Arab Emirates.
 
Andrada is part of the Philippine delegation to the event, together with Avel Bacudio, Ronald Alzate, Noel Crisostomo, Jeffrey Rogador and Rosenthal Tee. Bacudio won the Most Influential Designer award last year.
 
Fashion associations from China, Korea, Japan, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam participated in the fashion event which showcases the works of designers across Asia.
