Malaysia Airlines vows transparency on missing plane
MANILA, Philippines — Malaysia Airlines (MAS), the owner of the downed Boeing 777 aircraft on flight MH370, said that it will not withhold critical information on the tragedy.
"Malaysia Airlines reiterates that it will continue to be transparent in communicating with the general public via the media in all matters affecting MH370," the airlines said in its ninth statement on Monday.
"As hours turn into days, we at Malaysia Airlines are similarly anxious and we appreciate the patience, support and prayers from everyone," the airlines added. added.

The company said that it has ben 48 hours since it has lost contact with the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, and reports have surfaced that two passengers got on the plane with fake passports.
MAS added that it will continue releasing updates for the public as well as assist the families of the passengers of the downed aircraft.
"Together with all those affected by the MH370 incident, we understand the need to provide regular updates on the progress of the search and rescue operations," MAS Group Chief Executive Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said.
