Holiday season is fast approaching and the quest for the perfect present is on the go. Yes, candles are the most popular gift to give this season. However, unlike fruitcake, candles have different standards and qualities. The better you give, the better you love.

All the hottest brands for candles seem to have hit our shores. It was only about time that a candle company was born locally to outperform them all.

Fae is the brainchild of Macky Fah, also known as the jeweler to the hot crowd and co-founder of the jewelry line called FahLux. Not a stranger to the more luxurious things in life, Macky spent almost a year perfecting these smokeless beeswax candles that emit scents that are both rich and complex.

“I noticed that most candles around have a flat and one-tonal scent,” shares Macky. “I wanted to create a product that speaks for itself. I took time to perfect each scent. For each to have a play of different notes.” There is the refreshing Winter’s Evening, the tropical Wistful, the greener Riverbank and the delicious Silvergil to choose from.

Elegantly packaged and ready for its Christmas debut, Fae candles are also accompanied by luxurious bath soaps that comes in single bars or sets. These candles are made through a gentle cold process. Everything, both the candle and soap are handmade and wrapped. It’s artisanal, soul rich and vibrant.

Fae beeswax candles retail for P1,650 a piece, while Fae vegetable soaps in gift boxes for P490, each box containing two vegan soaps.
