MANILA, Philippines — Mother’s Day is around the corner and we can’t be the only ones running out of ideas for what to give our moms. Because, really, what do you give someone who basically gave you your life? Flowers? Succulents? A box of chocolates? Leave those to your dad for a bit of romancing. Let’s think outside the box and really hit it right in the bull’s eye this year.

We’re sure that they’ll accept anything we give them, but we also know that aside from stellar grades, all they want is some good quality time. We’re talking DIY buffet breakfasts in bed, trips to the neighborhood spa after a stressful day at work, and freedom to choose Something in the Rain (or any other KDrama) over whatever you’re bingeing on now (*cough* Aggretsuko *cough*). Time has passed since they have full reign over our time and they know full well that we’re adults with our own lives and interests. It’s always nice to show them some loving when they need and want it the most (which is all the time).
