MANILA, Philippines -  To get to the mall, or from points A to B, you book an Uber to get the job done. What isn’t there to love? Now, they’re introducing a new way of traveling with uberHOP — and believe us, you’re going to love them even more.

UberHOP allows riders who are going to the same destination to pool together for a flat rate of P50, and a 15-minute waiting time. “We’ve noticed a lot of our users love going to malls,” shares Uber Philippines general manager Laurence Cua, so their partnership with Megaworld Lifestyle Malls was the next step to upping their service. The Megaworld malls have more than just a wide selection of shops, there are various activities you can do. You can live the LA lifestyle by checking out Eastwood’s Walk of Fame then eat sloppy hotdogs in Uptown Mall; or feel the romantic Italian vibe with a gondola ride in the Venice Grand Canal Mall in McKinley Hill. The best part is you can treat the mall as your adventure destination, and the Uber car ride as your mini road trip. You’ll be hopping (so to speak) with six riders in an AUV that can fit up to eight people, and — who knows? — you might find your next adventure buddy sitting right beside you.

Adventure is everywhere, whether you’re high up a mountain, by the beach, or within the city in your neighborhood mall — it’s all about your perspective. If you can’t get away from Manila, just get on an uberHOP, and create your own adventure within the city.
