Walking on air

Im a major sports-lover! I always have been, and ever since I hit my first tennis ball and pitched my first strike, I could never imagine a life without a lot of physical movement be it team sports or individual sports. You name it, Ive tried it tennis, baseball, football, track and field, swimming, wall climbing, and most recently martial arts. I like keeping healthy and engaging in demanding physical activities always challenges me.
I spend more than half my week on sports, either training in martial arts or at the gym, Im always on the lookout for the newest and best or the latest breakthrough technology in sports clothes and equipment. Anything that can help my body achieve maximum results and at the same time prevent injury or too much wear and tear.
Thats why I was so interested in the newest innovation from Nike. Nike has remained on the top of my list when it comes to clothing and funky footwear. I loved their previously released dancewear apparel line and the most recent orange and blue Brasil- inspired pieces. Ive used several of their shoes over the years including my personal favorites the Nike Wrestling shoes that I use in for martial arts and the adorable Nike Tiempo soccer shoes that I use when playing Ultimate Frisbee. Indeed, Nike has a wonderful wide plethora of shoes to choose from that would make any athlete start to drool. And their newest innovation, the Air Max 360, is just icing on the cake!
The latest in their Nike Air line, the Air Max 360 takes Nikes running shoe technology to the next level by creating a running shoe that literally allows you to walk or run on air. This latest offering from Nike allows an even greater focus on comfort and performance. No foam, just pure Nike air cushioning for the softest and smoothest ride ever created. This shoe basically has no sole, just air!
Helene Hutchinson, Nikes senior footwear development manager, shares why she believes runners will adore the latest Nike offering, "I think runners know that the airbag provides great cushioning, its really responsive and durable in terms of the life of the shoe. And this is the most advanced air bag weve ever had we have flex grooves in it, we have a heel bevel, we have all the things that we normally put into regular running shoes so its combining the best practices that we have in a regular running shoe with an Air Max bag. And then you have the aesthetics of it it does look really cool. Its not like anything else thats out there."
Well, I recently had the pleasure of viewing a very interesting Nike exhibit along Pasong Tamo that was a tribute to all the Nike Air shoes of years past culminating in the newest product of that line the Air Max 360 and I have to say Im quite impressed. You can truly see over the years how Nike has evolved their technology and aesthetics in order to keep up with the times and the demands of the most discriminating athletes. And as for the Air Max 360, its a great shoe to add to any roster of sporting equipment. I kid you not, when you tie them on, you truly feel like youre walking on air.
