VIRAL: Japanese TV show reenacts ‘tanim-bala’ scam
MANILA, Philippines — The alleged "laglag-bala" modus at airports in the Philippines has been reported all over the world.
The act of planting bullets into luggage of unsuspecting travelers has landed the country in headlines internationally, most recently in Japan.
A television show in Japan has aired one segment demonstrating how the deceitful scheme works.
A video of it was shared by Facebook user Shinjoy Noisap Martinez, with a caption, "Nakakahiya na talaga ang bansang Pilipinas. Balitang-balita na pati dito sa Japan ang isyu ng laglag bala na 'yan. Tlaagang iminuwestra pa kung paano ang ginagawang pambibiktima sa loob ng airport."

The video also showed a photo of backpackers at the airport with their plastic-covered luggage.
