MANILA, Philippines - "It really doesn't get much more peaceful than this,” Erik Roner said once up 8,000 feet above the ground during his daredevil balloon stunt.
The professional skier and enthusiastic BASE jumper recreated Disney’s ‘Up’ by floating above the clouds with the use of 90 balloons filled with helium (50 tanks). After his friends and family tied the cluster of balloons to an old lawn chair using a bungee cord, he hopped onto it and rode it to the altitude.

Roner then pulled out a shotgun and started shooting balloons to carry him back to the ground as he reached 8,000 feet. With the help of his parachute he bailed and floated softly back to ground.
The adrenaline junkie documented the experience and posted it to his Youtube account to show how the crazy project came together.
