MANILA, Philippines – Vice Ganda believes co-star Richard Yap — known for his stern and serious TV roles — will surprise audiences as a comedic actor.
The two star in “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin,” the sequel to the 2011 hit movie and an entry to this year's Metro Manila Film Festival.
“Surprisingly, tawang tawa ako sa kanya,” Vice told entertainment reporters at the sidelines of the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Television. “Niloko ko nga siya. Sabi ko, 'Natatakot ako na baka matapos ang pelikulang itong na mas nakakatawa ka sa akin ha.'”

In the interview, reporters also asked Vice if he aims to claim the top spot in the box office for this year's MMFF.
Vice is competing with friend Kris Aquino in the said film fest with her movie “Feng Shui 2.” Interestingly, Kris's son Bimby co-stars in Vice's movie.
