MANILA, Philippines — Some foreign writers have accused Gilas Pilipinas of "sneaky dirtiness" in its last game against Greece at the FIBA World Cup.
American sports network SB Nation reported that Filipino guard LA Tenorio gave forward Kostas Papanikolaou "a little downstairs high-five" in the fourth period.
Tenorio was slapped with a flagrant foul for the move, which brought Papanikolaou to his knees.
The scene was captured on Vine by SB Nation's Mike Prada, who described it, "Not okay."
The Greeks won the game, 82-70.
