WATCH: How to file income tax returns for April 15 deadline

In a bid to educate the public on taxes, the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) launched KnowYourTaxes.ph featuring an animated video explaining the process of filing income tax returns for the April 15 deadline every year.

The national government has declared April as Tax Awareness Month in 2005 putting a premium on the “value of taxes to our society” and how “taxation plays a pivotal and crucial role in nation building,” as stated in Proclamation No. 812 series of 2005 signed by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

The video entitled "Easy as RFP" has earned over 189,000 views since it was posting in February this year.
