MACAU -- With the Philippines still grieving in the aftermath of Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), Manny Pacquiao gave the victims some hope that they can rise again.
On Sunday at the Cotai Arena here in Venetians Resort and Casino, Pacquiao rose up from the ashes of his 6th round knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez last year to score a scintillating unanimous decision over the much bigger and younger Brandon Rios.
Pacquiao, who is also the Representative of the lone district in Saranggani back home, immediately offered the victory to his countrymen and especially the victims of the super typhoon that wrecked a large part of the Visayas region.
