(PART 1 of 3)
After nine years of serving the first district of Zambales at the House of Representatives, Rep. Milagros 'Mitos' Magsaysay now shifts her focus on the Senate seat, running under the United Nationalist Alliance ticket.
"I think this country needs legislators who are dedicated enough, smart enough and intelligent enough to know what the issues of the days are," says Magsaysay, citing her position on current issues and her willingness to listen even to trivial concerns of her constituents.
In this exclusive interview with philstar.com, Magsaysay talks about her qualifications, why she is referred to as 'Congresswoman Libre' by her constituents and what she plans to do with her priority development assistance fund or 'pork' in case she wins.
