The same incident happened to the Tribu Pantat from Zarraga Iloilo who was the Aliwan Fiesta 2011 Street Dance Competition 2nd runner up winner. They defeated Tribu Kasag of Banate, the 2010 champion who were also the Aliwan Fiesta 2010 Street dance Competition 2nd runner up winner.

Dinagyang festival is known as the Queen festival of the Philippines. It is a celebration in honor to the natives’ Christianity as well as to the Santo Niño or the Holy Child of Jesus. This was celebrated every third Sunday of January.

The Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation and the Iloilo City government have given all out financial and moral support to their representatives for the Aliwan Fiesta 2011.

The Street dance competition of Aliwan Fiesta 2011 was held at Quirino Grandstand. The parade of the float festivals and the performers started from the Grandstand then passing through Roxas Boulevard and going to the Aliw Theater at CCP Complex, wherein the contingents made their final performance.

Also known as the “Mother of All Fiestas,” the Aliwan Fiesta is tagged as the biggest and the most colorful Fiesta in the Philippines since its start in 2003. It was organized by the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC).
