Mendoza hari sa Go For Gold Series 3
MANILA, Philippines — Hindi ininda ni Aidan James Mendoza ang madulas na daan upang matamis na angkinin ang korona sa men’s elite division ng Go For Gold Criterium Race Series 3 na ginanap sa General Santos City.
Umarangkada ang Go For Gold Continental Cycling Team standout na si Mendoza sa kabila ng buhos ng ulan upang ungusan si Jun Rey Navarra sa finish line.
Pumangatlo naman ang isa pang Go For Gold Continental Cycling Team bet na si Marc Ryan Lago — apat na segundo ang agwat sa likod ni Mendoza.
“It feels great that we were able to win this race for Go For Gold,” ani Mendoza na nagtala ng 45 minutes at 56 seconds sa pagkumpleto ng 1.4-kilometer loop sa harap ng city hall.
“Our races are organized to give more opportunities for our local riders. For sure we will have more legs next year where we can hopefully find more upcoming cyclists,’’ ani Go For Gold founder Jeremy Go.
