DUMAGUETE CITY ,Philippines — Power consumers in Negros Oriental, being serviced by the Negros Oriental II Electric Cooperative, or NORECO 2, will be enjoying a drop in their power bills for the month of March.
The decrease in power rates, as shown in the comparative table of rates for the months of February and March, are as follows:
For residential consumers, the per kiloWatt hour (kWh) rate is at P0.1668 or P9.8562/kWh in March, down from P10.0230/kWh in February, while low voltage consumers will see a decrease of P0.1679/kWh or P9.0056/kWh in March from P9.1735/kWh last month.
High voltage consumers will enjoy a decrease of P0.1371/kWh or P7.3379/kWh from P7.4750/kWh in February.
In the past months, NORECO II member-consumers-owners have been enjoying adjustments in power rates due to the cooperative’s prompt payment to the Green Core Geothermal, Inc., the coop said on Friday. (FREEMAN)
