CEBU, Philippines - A level 3 drug personality was busted the other day with more than P200,000 worth of shabu seized, after a search, from his rented house at purok 2 in Barangay Batinguel of Dumaguete City.
Chief Inspector Benedict Poblete, head of the Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group, identified the suspect as Alejandro Tayong Jr., whom intelligence reports said can distribute 200 grams of shabu every week.
Poblete said Tayong’s neighbors has observed that he has visitors every night time, with motorcycles sporting noisy mufflers, using the back door of his house, raising suspicions that something illegal has been going on inside his residence.
The service of the search warrant was witnessed by village chief Nicolas Ramirez and barangay officials, namely, Frankie Credo, Rodion Pinili and Ramises Flores, chairman of the peace and order committee. — Juancho R. Gallarde (FREEMAN)
