TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines – The Tacloban-Baybay road is now passable to all types of vehicles after workers finally cleared on Sunday its one-lane portion that was covered by the huge mound of earth from a landslide at the height of storm Seniang in the latter part of December.
Leyte Governor Leopoldo Dominico Petilla said his men in the field, together with personnel of the Department of Public Works and Highways-Region 9, have reported that the landslide site at Barangay Villa Solidaridad in Baybay City was cleared and opened to motorists.
