CEBU, Philippines- In one week's time, anti-illegal drugs operations netted a total of 601.62 grams of shabu and 16.24 grams of marijuana in Dumaguete City and in other parts of the province, worth an estimated value of P7.1 million based on estimated value of the Dangerous Drugs Board.
The Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Group, led by Inspector Ryan Jay Orapa, issued this statement in its weekly report, saying this was the result of collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies and people from communities that give out information on illegal drugs transactions in their neighborhood.
For a period of one week from August 11 to 17, a total of 33 target personalities were arrested, in 16 buy-bust operations and four search warrants with 35 cases filed in court, added Orapa.
