Woman killed after she beheads 2 kids

BACOLOD CITY — Two children, aged two and three years old, were  stabbed dead and then beheaded by a 43-year-old woman in a killing rampage inside the house of her neighbor at Cauayan town, Negros Occidental last Friday afternoon.

The woman, identified as Perlita Sagmon, believed to be suffering from nervous breakdown, was also hacked dead by the father of one of  the children, leaving her head almost decapitated.

Police records showed that Perlita, with her two-year-old child, came to the house of her neighbors, the couple Leah Lyn and Rodney Montilla.

Upon entering the Montilla’s house, Perlita stabbed Leah Lyn at the back but the latter fought back by trying to wrestle the bolo away from the assailant. Leah Lyn was able to get out of the house and called her husband Rodney for help. She however left her three-year-old child behind.

Perlita then stabbed and beheaded Montilla’s child and then did the same to her own child. Rodney arrived and killed the attacker, also with a bolo. —(FREEMAN)
