TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines — President Benigno Simeon Aquino III is expected to be in Bohol again today (Nov. 28), this time to inspect the roads and bridges that were repaired after a 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit the province on October 15.
Aquino is slated to arrive between 10 a.m. and noontime, and will go straight to the Bohol Tropics Resort to meet with the members of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC).
One of the repaired bridges that he will inspect is the Abatan Bridge, connecting the towns of Maribojoc and Cortes, which was reopened Saturday.
There was however no confirmation yet if the Aquino will check the Tagbuane Bridge in Alburquerque town that was finished weeks ahead. The other projects to be inspected will only be known upon the arrival of the president.
Aquino will immediately fly back to Manila after the inspection of the projects. — (FREEMAN)
