Jailbreaker escapes anew

TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines — Recaptured escapee Exequiel Aniscal has bolted jail again and this time from the city jail.

Aniscal, who is facing robbery with homicide charge, escaped last May from the Bohol District Jail along with two others who were later killed by pursuing operatives in a gunbattle in Ubay town.

Aniscal, after his recapture on May 17, was granted by the court to be transferred to the City Jail where he was able to escape again the other day.

Governor Edgar Chatto confirmed to the media the jailbreak of Aniscal, and ordered the police and jail authorities to catch the jailbreaker by plugging escape routes, such as seaports. (FREEMAN)
