Sara brought down Duterte

VIRTUAL REALITY - Tony Lopez - The Philippine Star

A mouth brought down former president Rodrigo Roa Duterte. It’s the BM variety. BM is not Bongbong Marcos who goes by the nickname BBM. It is Sara Duterte, the blabbermouth or BM.

A blabbermouth or BM talks too much. Its root word is “blabber” which means to talk foolishly, mindlessly, excessively.

Sara blabbed that House Speaker Martin Romualdez is a “tambalolos,” that she wanted to cuff off PBBM’s head, excavate the remains of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan and throw them into the West Philippine Sea. She had hired assassins to kill Marcos Jr., the First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.

Sara’s penchant for blabber became viral in mid-May 2023, just before her May 31 45th birthday. The Vice President (then secretary of Education) and Senator Imee Marcos were seen on video snickering at House Speaker Martin Romualdez as a “tambaloslos.”

In Bicol and Visayan folklore, a “tambaloslos” is a huge, hairy monster with a huge mouth and a huge penis. Its penis is so big and so long it could not impregnate women. A harmless creature, thus.

Here is an entry from the Philippine Spirits portal on Philippine mythology: “Without warning a lanky, black creature with wobbly legs and big joints ambushed the girls. Its ugliness was amplified by its big mouth and huge penis that dangled to the ground. The girls sighed and turned their clothes inside out, exposing their breasts. The creature’s penis erected so much it covered its vision and the girls continued with their conversation as if nothing happened.”

Two days after the May 2023 Sara-Imee tambaloslos talk, Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was replaced by Rep. Dong Gonzales of Pampanga’s third congressional district as the House Senior Deputy Speaker. Just like Imee, GMA is an ardent VP Sara supporter.

On June 20, 2024, Sara resigned as Education secretary and as head of an anti-insurgency body, following policy differences with PBBM, including efforts to arrest a pro-Duterte supporter, cult leader Apollo Quiboloy, who was accused of child abuses and abuse of women, and Manila’s handling of Chinese illegal incursions into the West Philippine Sea.

On Oct. 18, 2024, Sara related to newsmen she wanted to chop off Marcos’s head after the President refused to give his watch to a graduating cadet who wanted it as a graduation gift. “Why would I give you my watch?” BMM clarified. “Gusto kong tanggalin ang ulo niya ba” (“I wanted to chop off his head”), Sara fumed, relating how toxic her relations had become with the President.

With eyes rolling at times, an expressive mouth that at one point blurted out an expletive (“f**k you,” silently) and hand gestures that conveyed karate chops, wringing of the neck motion and straight slashing guillotine cut (she wanted, she said, to cut BBM’s neck for refusing to give his watch to a child graduate asking for it as a gift), she ventilated her bitterness with BMM.

At a press conference morning of Nov. 23, 2024, a Saturday, VP Duterte said, “I have spoken to someone. I told them, if I am killed, go and kill BBM [Marcos], [First Lady] Liza Araneta and [Speaker] Martin Romualdez. No joke. No joke.”

In August 2024, Speaker Martin formed a House super-committee called quad comm composed of four powerful committees – dangerous drugs, public order and safety, human rights and public accounts – to investigate links between Philippine offshore gaming operations (POGOs), extrajudicial killings (EJKs), illegal drugs and Chinese crime syndicates. Separately, the House committee on government and public accountability conducted hearings on Sara’s alleged misuse of public funds.

On Dec. 18, 2024, after 13 hearings, the quad comm recommended the filling of crime against humanity charges against former president Duterte and former Philippine National Police chiefs Sen. Bato dela Rosa, Oscar Albayalde and Debold Sinas, among other suspects.

On Feb. 5, 2025, 215 congressmen impeached Sara Duterte on charges that include corruption, bribery, plunder, unexplained wealth, murder, plotting to assassinate President Marcos, involvement in extrajudicial killings and incitement to insurrection and public disorder.

The impeachment complained said the VP misused and malversed hundreds of millions of confidential funds under the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education.

Of 1,992 names of persons mentioned by Sara to have received her OVP confidential funds totaling P254 million, 1,322 did not exist or were fictitious names. Another P73.28 million went to non-confidential activities and expenses and were thus disallowed by COA. The Senate will try the VP.

As Davao mayor, Sara “personally gave the green light for DDS killing spree, or Operation Tokhang,” with a directive to bury the victims in mass graves in the Laud Quarry. This makes her a suspect for crime against humanity before the International Criminal Court.

At the Senate foreign relations committee hearing on Thursday, March 20, 2025, its chairman, presidential sister Sen. Imee Marcos, kept pestering administration and Cabinet officials on why Marcos Jr. apparently changed his mind on whether the ICC could conduct an investigation in the Philippines, even after March 17, 2019 when the country left as a state party to the Rome Statute, the law that criminalizes crime against humanity (CAH).

“This government will not assist the ICC, in any way, shape or form,” Marcos Jr. told the VP in his letter of Dec. 15, 2023. Thanks to Sara’s blabber, the President changed his mind. It’s called wisdom.

Morning of Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Rodrigo Duterte was arrested by the PNP upon arrival from Hong Kong.  Thursday morning, March 13, a Pre-Trial Court of three women judges told a subdued Digong to identify himself as the suspect for crime against humanity.  He remains in jail in ICC’s The Hague prison.

With lengthy pre-trial and trial proper, Sara herself concedes the ailing Duterte won’t be back to the Philippines, alive.
