Years of devotion pay off

FAITH AND TRUST. A man who lives in southern Cebu town used to remember how he settled for staying in the “devotee city” whenever he visited Cebu City for the Fiesta Señor. Now he can afford to stay in a hotel in the city, along with his family to boot.

He said it was because his business became successful over the years. Something he attributes to his faith in and prayers to the Holy Child.

“Lisod pa kaayo sauna, karon medyo hayahay ng. Ampo lang g’yud,” he said.
