OLD BUT ABLE. An elderly woman who is nearing her eighties seems to perk up whenever the Fiesta Señor arrives. While she seems lethargic for most of the year, she insists on joining the activities of the Fiesta Señor, even walking during the Penitent Walk With Jesus recently.
Her daughter says she seems filled with the spirit of the Holy Child this time of year.
“Mao g’yud na iyang debosyon,” she was heard saying.
