IT WORKS. A woman who saw how two women in Barangay Apas were robbed by a man with a knife as they were opening the gate to their house is now paranoid. She said her boarding house is just near the road and anyone can strike while she is fumbling with her keys.
She said they came up with a system with her boardmate; she will text five minutes ahead of when she expects to arrive. The boardmate will unlock the gate ahead to allow her to quickly get in without using her keys.
“Maniguro lang ta,” she said.
