1.) Firstly, both sides are wrong regarding the problems over in Israel and Palestine. Nobody has a right to certain property because it's written in some religious document. No group of people should feel superior to others.
2.) I can understand with the common corruption here, that people are most likely to be more concerned about their families than with their communities. However these two factors need to change in order for the Philippines to prosper.
Volunteerism needs to be a central part of national life.
3.) The ocean is getting warmer. After the ocean dies we will also die. If the government wants us to change to hydrogen or electric vehicles, they need to make them cheaper than the gasoline vehicles. I would have bought an electric car if it was cheaper than a gas car!
4.) The companies that profit from selling stuff in plastic containers need to pay for their disposal. This includes everyone getting at least a peso to return the containers to the stores.
If Coke doesn't want to participate, I'll drink Pepsi!
5.) Everybody needs to teach their family and friends not to be gullible. Many believe the sensationalistic posts on the internet. I understand that the scientific articles and medical terminology are hard for the average person to understand, and the sensationalistic, exciting ones are easy.
Because of this, there are people who don't believe that climate change is real, that we did not travel to the moon, that there wasn't a virus called COVID-19 that killed people, and that the lizard people rule the earth.
Gee, there are still people who think the earth is flat!
6.) Africa is having a baby boom even greater than the Philippines. Other countries are aging and their population is shrinking. This will create both problems and opportunities.
7.) Education is the key to success as well as family planning, good nutrition for our youth, and good government. Always vote for honest people. If they break the law and pay you to vote for them, do you really think they will be honest after being elected?
8.) Expect another pandemic sometime. Everyone must work together to stop it from spreading. Our medical professionals need our respect and support.
