Agon Hare, the famous content creator of Project Nightfall, exposed in one of his videos the lies of McDonald’s. He shared how the food industry hides a big fat lie to keep people addicted to Coke, Sprite, burgers, and fries. One example he gave is that the famous French fries at McDonald's are loaded with chemicals. Other than the potato ingredient, this food is made up of ten other ingredients: Potatoes, Vegetable oil, canola oil, corn oil, soybean oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, dextrose, sodium acid pyrophosphate, salt, and natural beef flavor. Another substance that is present to most McDonald's products is acrylamide. It is formed as part of a chemical reaction known as the Maillard Reaction, which contributes to the aroma, taste, and color of cooked foods. This is harmful to humans, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
You may think that this information regarding the lies of some food industries is hard to believe, remember that 70% of cancer issues are caused by food. Even if McDonald’s and other food and beverage industries are not serious about this, they cannot be easily taken down since they have become one of the backbones of the local and global economies. They pay taxes, they give job opportunities, they make good business partnerships, and they give color to lifestyle and culture. In the end, they also contribute to the rising death toll of people who die due to chronic diseases.
