Legacy mode  

There is so much wonderful in life. However, how we live and give of ourselves to others will affect how other people view us. And for this same reason, we really should make the most of our time while we are here on earth. It is all about legacy.

The theme of legacy is life and living. It is about reflecting on the past, embracing the present, and laying the foundation for the future.

Legacy is essential to the essence of being human. Adults lose significance in their lives, according to research, when they do not feel like they are trying to leave a legacy. Investigating the concept of legacy provides insight into not only developing good communities and interpersonal connections, but also the human spirit.

However, individuals who are already in their golden years or those who are suffering from fatal illnesses should consider how they might use their remaining years in a way that will have a beneficial effect and so influence the lives of others who will soon be left behind.

We might imagine and hope for what would be the final remarks from our loved ones, especially those we just occasionally interact with, when someone looked at us in the casket. The ideal moment to reflect on how people perceived us while we were still living is certainly right now.

Although the concept of legacy conjures images of death, it is not about dying. It is beneficial to be reminded of death since it influences living. We gain perspective on what is crucial as a result. But the essence of a legacy is life and living. It aids us in making decisions about the kind of life and the kind of world we wish to lead.

All the fundamental human emotions --hope, desire, regret, anxiety, fear, dread, jealously, bitterness, fury, a sense of failure, a sense of accomplishment, pride, contentment, joy, gratitude, humility, and love-- can evoke simultaneously by leaving and receiving a legacy. No matter our age or physical condition, when we begin to consider our legacies, we inventory our assets as well as our successes and failures. We evaluate the lessons we have learned from our past actions, what we are doing right now, and what we still want to accomplish.

We want to hear from someone whose life we want to influence, more particularly, someone whose education we have sponsored because it has improved his family's situation. Another person would be appreciative because it gave them the chance to appreciate life's beauty amid their darkest hour, and that is something to be thankful for.

A legacy that is encouraging and constructive strengthens family bonds over multiple generations. A terrible legacy might be destructive, on a similar note. Because it is ingrained in families to protect legacies, leaving a legacy creates enduring connections among the members.

Creating a legacy requires years of doing virtuous deeds as change of heart, mind and life necessitates years of pattern of honorable deeds, therefore one must start doing good for the rest of life. We cannot just be selfish by looking at our own interest and of those immediate to us but expand the scope of our goodness, much more for those who have been abandoned and disadvantaged.

By looking back at the years, we have been doing good for others, our twilight years would be as calm and rewarding as we can say that those we have touched can be our living witnesses of the charitable deeds we have done and they in turn.
