SCAM. A man said he opened what seemed to be an official email from one of the groups he belonged to. It said there were some issues with his membership and asked him to update his information. It seemed legit enough. However, as the process went on he was eventually asked for his credit card information, and that was when he became suspicious. He later found out it was a scam.
“Buanga, nindot kaayo pagkahimo ang email, mora g’yud og official. Maygani wa ko nailad,” he told The EAR.
