NO MORE POLITICS HERE. In a Cebu City barangay there used to be a prime lot where parties liked to hold their miting de avance during the end of the campaign period. However, the lot was so small sometimes rival parties would hold their gatherings within sight and sound of each other.
This went on for many years until just before the 2019 polls when a chapel was built on the prime lot. Now it is off-limits to political activities.
“Pasalamat ko nga wa nay mo miting diri, saba kaayo to sa una,” one resident told The EAR.
