UNDOCUMENTED. A man who rented a condo in Pasay City via an online lodging website told The EAR he had a harrowing experience. After the guard said the owner wasn’t in their database, the owner told him to sneak into the building, go to the floor of their unit, then get the key from under the rug.

“Okay na, basta pumasok ka lang,” the source quoted the owner as saying.

The source said he was afraid he would just be suddenly robbed or arrested and framed as he entered the unit, but nothing happened. Also, each time they had to arrive or leave they had to sneak in and out of the building.
