CANCER OF THE SOUL. There is now a message circulating about a boy from a national high school needing money to treat his blood cancer. The boy, reportedly a “three-silver awardee” reportedly needed P200,000 for his treatment. Major telecom networks allegedly agreed to give 10 centavos each time the message was shared.
However, the principal of the alleged school confirmed the news wasn’t true. It was probably one of those messages intended to scam people into sending money.
“Paita, bisan unsa na lang mahuna-hunaan aning mga scammer,” a man who received the message said.
