Cut tree grows again

THE EAR - The Freeman

BACK FROM THE DEAD. Years ago, a tree along Tres de Abril St. was cut down because it had grown too big and was already posing a threat to nearby houses as well as the street.

Residents reckon it was almost or more than 100 years old when it was cut down. Years later, however, is seems that same stump is showing new growth.

“Dili man sad to taw-an (haunted) nga kahoya, pero makulbaan sad usahay mi ato. Karon mora’g nabuhi og balik,” a resident said.
