The bigger the boom

FRAG! It's not just guns being found on drug and robbery suspects today, more frequently police are finding hand grenades, rifle grenades, and other kinds of explosives and it has some people worried.

According to a policeman who talked to The Ear, these explosives are not available for civilian purchase and are only issued to policemen and soldiers. Even they must have a proper accounting of explosives they turn over after duty.

That means somebody in the government sold the suspects those explosives. And if they are getting grenades, what else might be available to just anyone from the armory? High-powered long firearms? Anti-tank weapons? Mines?
