To forget and the forgotten

FORGOTTEN. Remember the story of wannabe politician who finally won. The incumbent, the wannabe politician was able to beat, has some large controversial skeletons in the closet. One skeleton is a building that has remained unused but was initially planned to be a birthing center. Only the incumbent knows why the project remains unfinished; however, wannabe politician can take this opportunity to impress more his constituents by finally using the structure.

TO FORGET.  The many infrastructure projects done during the Marcos regime is one of the many reasons some individuals use to justify their belief that Ferdinand Marcos was a great leader. In fact, some of these structures still remain quite impressive. But let us not forget, he loaned the money for these projects, and these projects were given to companies owned by his cronies. He did not pay for these projects, taxpayers did. And taxpayers are still paying now.
