REACTIONS. The memo of Acting Mayor Margot Osmeña recalling all city government-owned vehicles from the supporters and staff of suspended Mayor Mike Rama, has received mixed reactions. A supporter of the suspended mayor told The Ear there was no basis for the acting mayor to recall all the vehicles as some of them are utilized by barangay officials for public purposes and functions.
OUTING. However, a voter in the city's south district said she supports Margot's memo. She told The Ear there are city government-owned vehicles bearing red plates which are used by some barangay officials and civilian supporters of the suspended mayor in private functions. "Naay pickup nga giisyu ni Mike sa kanhi opisyal sa barangay nga gigamit ra gyud sa outing. (There is pickup car issued by Mike to a former barangay official but only used for outing)," she said.
