PARROT. The mayor of Guayaquil, Ecuador had received many "undesirable questions" from reporters at press conferences that he appointed a parrot as his official spokesman or bird.

NONSENSE. "Some people only talk nonsense to me," he said. "So the parrot will answer them back in the same way. I need to use my time for work." (Note: This Ear item was lifted from Uncle John's Bathroom Reader.)
