Mar & Grace Ilonggos both?

HAVE BAT WILL STRIKE - Juanito V. Jabat   - The Freeman

Malacañang says Grace Poe is still too green to be presidential candidate. That's why they're forcing her to become yellow?

***

It says here that Sen. Bongbong Marcos is likely to seek higher office and follow the footsteps of his dad?

***

Highly respected PhilSTAR columnist Jarius Bondoc says in terms of geographic representation,Grace Poe is not perfect as Mar Roxas running mate. They're both from Panay; Mar from Capiz, Grace from Iloilo. Grace an Ilonggo like Mar? No? But didn't Grace confirm she was a foundling from Jaro, Iloilo City?

***

So Jarius suggests to Mar to pick a running mate from outside of Capiz and/or Iloilo. Like Joseph Abaya from Cavite, Proceso Alcantara from Quezon, Florencio Abad from Batanes, or any other Liberal Cabinet member from Luzon.

Former Sen. Agapito "Butz" Aquino has passed away. Present-day Pinoys including Cebuanos remember Butz. I think it's only proper that Butz, Ninoy's brod, is remembered by the youth of today even if for the sake of history alone.

***

Butz was a street parliamentarian who played a big role in the  EDSA People Power Revolution that brought back democracy to our land. He organized many reform groups like the August 21 Movement or ATOM and BANDILA.

Pinoys in Saudi are eagerly awaiting the scheduled game between the Phl Azkals and Ubekistan on Sept. 8, 2015. This I learned from Maning Tiu who texted me last night from his hotel in Jeddah where he is on a "strictly business" trip. Maning said the Pinoys' eagerness to see the Azkals play against Uzbekistan is generated by the Azkals impressive games against Bahrain and Yemen. Here at home I know of many who are also looking forward to watching the Azkals vs. the Uzbeks.
