CHRISTIANS. Many of the displaced residents of Mamasapano and other areas in Maguindanao are not Muslims but Christians. This according to a census made by a religious foundation linked to a Protestant mission group. Our Ear informer learned that members of this mission group made a "silent census" three years ago.
MISTAKEN. A member of the mission group told our informer that the women in the town and nearby areas are mistaken for Muslim because they are garbed like the Muslim women. Our Ear source said he started to validate his information only after the Mamasapano tragedy.
