TOURISM. A passenger bus operator in Mindanao told an Ear informer that he foresees Mamasapano the battle-site in Maguindanao where the 44 SAF commandos fell becoming a tourist destination. He said he had received inquiries from backpack travelers about how to get to Mamasapano.
STEERING CLEAR. The same bus operator said he used to have two buses on the Mamasapano route but he has been steering clear of the route after the firefight. But there are many curiosity-seekers eager to see the controversial town, he said.
