Ugly rumor

REWARD. The stories or rumor making the rounds after the slaying of the 44 PNP Special Action Force do not sound good and these have already reached the Filipino communities abroad especially in the US. The rumor concerns the reported 5 million US dollars reward for those who could cause the capture of the two terrorists, the target of the police operations.

QUESTIONS. Pinoys at home with relatives in the US, including our Ear informer, have been asked by these relatives about the veracity of the rumor. "Let's hope the rumor is not true," e-mailed the sister in Chicago of our Ear informer. "Tinuod man o dili, uwaw kaayo paminawon. Maluoy ta sa nangamatay nga SAF troopers," she said in her e-mail.
