MATRON. One matron who was filling her cart with canned goods at a supermarket in connection with the coming of Hagupit/Ruby struck a conversation with another shopper.
PANIC BUYING. "I am buying foodstuff that I normally would buy only when there really is a need for it such as milk in cans. But since there is a typhoon coming, I am stocking up," she told the other shopper.
PAG-ASA. "If the typhoon doesn't come, I would throw all these canned milk at Pag-asa's face," she said.
