Christmas cards

THE EAR - The Freeman

CARDS. Despite the popularity of computers and computer printers, sales of commercial Christmas cards continue to be on the up and up, according to a representative of a greeting cards company. He told an Ear informer that last year his company's sales on Christmas cards exceeded total sales the previous year.

EASIER. The sales rep said the reason for the continued popularity of the commercial Christmas greetings cards is that it is easier to acquire cards in the stationery stores than in the computer. "Not all common people have computers and those who have do not have the skill to print out cards as beautiful as those ready-to-buy ones in the stores," he said.
