Shelter for the homeless

THE EAR - The Freeman

RAIN. When it rains hard that usually gets the streets flooded, where do the poor homeless city sidewalk sleepers go? Most of them run to the roofed overpass. Some stay above, others below.

USEFUL. An Ear informer who lives near the skywalk or overpass across Osmeña Boulevard said many skywalks or overpasses in the city are proving very useful for many homeless city inhabitants. "Rain or shine, some of them find the roofed overpasses convenient dormitories of sorts," our informer said.
