PNoy agrees with bosses

I heard on TV a reporter pronounce Mariah Carey's name "Marayah." Is that the way it's pronounced? Undo Arnan of Punta Princesa asked me. I said maybe that's it. Undo exclaimed: "Sus, Santa Marayah!"

PNoy says his second term is not the right solution to the country's need for continued growth. In a manner of speaking, he's telling his bosses: "Ok, ok, bossing, you win."

PNoy says in a recent speech that instead of him running for a second term, us his bosses must choose wisely the right replacement for him. That is, someone who can sustain the country's growth.

But isn't it the tradition, right or wrong, for the replacement-- the new leader -- to show the world he's got better ideas to replace what has been put in place by the man he has replaced?

Sir Ahmed Cuizon is now the No. 2 man in the Mactan-Cebu International Airport. A reward for his able handling of the LTFRB regional office. I have not had the chance to rub elbows with Ahmed although he's from media, but hearing the many, oh so many, good things about him from fellow mediamen, there's no need to rub elbows with him before I salute him as he assumes his new role as MCIA second-in-command.

My fellow TF columnist sir Paul Nigel Villarete continues to be MCIA top gun. I also haven't had the chance to rub elbows with him but from his columns I get more than enough reason to say Sir Paul Nigel knows his job like the fingers of his hands.

It says here that the Osmeña family, or anyone from the family, showed up at the unveiling of the Serging Osmeña monument. Sergingistas understand that. I'm sure they do. A true-blue Sergingista I know said the statue of his idol was misplaced.
