RESTROOMS. A Japanese news correspondent asked the driver of the car he rented why the restrooms in the shopping mall here do not have toilet tissues. The driver "who happened to be our Ear informer said he was embarrassed. So he just played deaf. "Wa ko motubag. Nagpabungol-bungol ra ko," he said.
STOLEN. The driver said he knew the toilet tissues were being stolen. "Hibaw ko butangan ang restrooms og kompletong tissues pero panad-on sa uban inighuman gamit sa restroom," the driver said. "This puts us in a bad light," he shook his head.
