CAREFUL. A broadcaster journalist in Mindanao told an Ear informer that the Phl being a free country foreigners are not banned from traveling in any place in Mindanao. But they must be careful. Always be cautious. "They should realize the danger in certain areas where bandits like the Abu Sayyaf roam," he said.

PROBLEM. The same broadcaster said the problem with some foreigners is: "They push their luck too far." He stressed: "Unya kon hisgutan nila ang mga terorista ug kidnapon sila ang atong gobiyerno maoy malintian." Right now two Germans are in the hands of the Abu Sayyaf who have threatened to behead one of them.
