Pruned trees

THE EAR - The Freeman

ART'S SAKE. A sculptor who requested anonymity, suggested if it's not yet too late to just prune the old giant trees in Naga City instead of totally cutting them down from the base. He said he was making the suggestion for art's sake. "Total," he said, "Kun wa na ang mga sanga ug bagang mga dahon wa namay kuyaw nga mangatumba pa ang maong mga punuan sa acacia."

PRUNED. The sculptor said there is beauty in the trees devoid of the thick leaves. He said some fellow artists find the leaves-less" trees suitable for painting and sculpting.
