Comics and stress

COMICS. A Japanese psychologist said during a mental care forum in Singapore recently that in this "era of stress" it would do well for newspapers to carry more pages of comic strips to help bring about a "happy society." This The Ear learned from an informer who was present in the Singapore forum.

IMPACT. Quoting the Japanese forum speaker, The Ear informer said, "comic strips could minimize the stress factor of hard news about the hurting happenings in the world today." These "hurting happenings" according to the Japanese psychologist, as quote by our informer, include the "tragic effects" of the climate change.
